No. Ouro does not perform physical destruction. We verify and document destruction events carried out by certified third-party facilities.
What counts as “evidence”?
Evidence can include time-stamped photos or video, chain-of-custody records, destruction method documentation, and event metadata captured at the point of destruction.
Can we bring our own destruction vendor?
Yes. Ouro is vendor-agnostic. You can use your existing destruction partners, and we can onboard them to the Ouro platform and protocol.
Can you help us organize a destruction project?
Yes. We work with our network of brokers to help orchestrate your full project from collection through destruction for one-time or recurring destruction events.

Yes. Verified certificates and reports can be downloaded, shared, or integrated into internal systems at any time.
What happens if a destruction event fails verification?
The Ouro platform allows you to reconcile issues and flags when errors occur. You can choose how you wish to procede or resolve the issue. Once resolved, certificates can still be generated.
